How to Stake on Conjure and Earn CNJ

This walkthrough will show you how to mint synthetic assets on Conjure, stake them for rewards and close the loans when you are done

Step 1

Open the dapp for Conjure by going to Conjure.Finance and then connecting your wallet at the top right. Then select the asset such as xUSD you want to stake. The top box allows you to enter how much ETH you want to put as collateral for the loan you’re about to open. The bottom box lets you select how much you’d like to mint/borrow from the system. The Fixed Collateral Ratio will show you the threshold you need to meet to make sure you dont get liquidated. Your current threshold will also be shown, if this value falls below the fixed then anyone can send the asset that you borrowed in exchange for the ETH you put as collateral, with a penalty fee. There is no interest on opening or holding these loans. Then mint when ready.

Step 2

Open the staking interface through the menu at the left/top right. Select the asset you want to stake and then you can provide liquidity through Uniswap. You can find guides for this. Once you have provided liquidity Uniswap will mint you the LP token, which you stake in the interface on Conjure. You can claim your rewards, exit the pool which returns your LP tokens and put more tokens to stake.

Step 3

When you are ready to stop staking, exit the staking pool, withdraw your LP funds from the Uniswap pool and then go back to Conjure. Select Loans and then find the loan you opened before. If you have all the assets you borrowed just press Close Loan, otherwise you can repay loans here or deposit more ETH to increase your collateralization to make your loan safer/healthy.

And thats all you need! You can also create your own assets, trade synths and stake your CNJ for ETH rewards which come from the fees on select synths
